Kevin Harris, Bassoon

Bassoonist Kevin Harris received his Performance Diploma (2013) and Artist Diploma (2015) from the Glenn Gould School, studying with Fraser Jackson and Nadina Mackie Jackson. As a freelance musician Kevin performs with major orchestras across Ontario, including the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony, the Hamilton Philharmonic, the Windsor Symphony, and the Niagara Symphony. He also performs with many smaller ensembles, including the Toronto Concert Orchestra, Against the Grain Theatre, and the Toronto Mozart Players. Kevin also plays in two woodwind quintets: Blythwood Winds and Quintagious, which specialize in creating new musical arrangements and commissioning new works, and electric pop bassoon band DFM, which performs creative renditions of well-know hits at events and live music bars across the GTA.
